Eye Lift Treatment
Dr Sagoo offers a range of eye lift treatments to address a common concern of excessive upper lid skin (mild hooding of eyes). With age comes changes to skin integrity and tightness. As we get older many factors affect our skin’s structure; elasticity starts to deplete, facial fat begins to reduce and muscles in the face decrease in size. This consequently contributes to sagging skin, excessive skin and the appearance of wrinkles around the face and eyes.
Radio Frequency Microneedling for Eye Lift
This treatment is a non-surgical eye lift and takes only a few minutes. Radio-frequency energy is transmitted through a series of small bipolar needles that heat the skin, which results in many minuscule pinpricks, which the body then heals this stimulates collagen and elastin remodelling causing the skin area to tighten.
Eye Lift Treatment Results
The eye lift treatment may help to lift, firm and tighten both the skin of the upper and lower eyelids. It tends to be especially effective in the treatment of skin that is naturally thin, or where eye-lift surgery is not practical as there is not enough skin around the eye to trim.
This eye lift treatment may prevent or delay the need for surgery, as long as it is not left too long and the problems in the eye area are not too severe. It’s not effective if the patient has fatty deposits in their under-eye bags or where the eyelid muscle is very loose.

Using an ablative laser at a certain wavelength of energy we can heat and stimulate skin contraction all areas of face including upper and lower eyelid area. Tiny fractionated columns of heat energy create channels in the skin targeting water molecules and this interaction leads to skin contraction and ultimately skin tightening.
A course of 3 monthly treatments is advised using the erbium laser under and upper eye area can be treated with minimal down time of a few days with long lasting effects.
Plasma pen for Eye Lift
Using plasma technology as an eye lift treatment, we can create micro injuries to the upper/ lower eyelid area in a series of tiny placements close together which will over the next few days stimulate fibroblast ( collagen and elastin producing cells ) to lift and tighten the skin .

Surgery (Upper /lower eyelid blepharoplasty)
Sometimes if the upper eyelid skin is excessive the only option would be to have the excess skin surgically removed. Dr Sagoo works closely with a leading oculoplastic eye surgeon for the last 15 years and can refer directly to his colleague if this is required
