Mesotherapy – Skin Lift

Untitled-31

Solihull Medical Cosmetic Clinic is proud to provide a new treatment that may improve the tone and elasticity and appearance of the skin leading to a fresher glowing complexion, as seen with many celebrities and TV presenters.

What is involved?

A series of microinjections with a mixture introduced to the skin. This skin lift treatment promotes the restructuring of the skin tissue to favour different biological reactions of the skin. We will inject up to twenty different types of vitamins, proteins, minerals, and coenzymes, which are intended to rehydrate and revitalise the skin.

The result may be a tighter skin tone and texture. Most patients see results after their first treatment. Usually, a series of two to four treatments spaced over two to three weeks apart and then three monthly is required to achieve the desired results. There are no known risks apart from mild bruising. Dr Sagoo has been specifically trained to carry out these treatments.

As we age, our skin tends to lose vital nutrients as a result of sun exposure, hormonal changes, poor diet and poor circulation, which then causes us to age. Using the Skin lift technique, the ageing face, neck, hands and décolleté line may be rejuvenated. The procedure includes the use of specific fillers, multi-vitamins, amino acids, co-enzymes and minerals to the ageing skin. The skin may look rested, radiant, glowing and firmer after the treatment. The injections usually include at least five separate vitamins.

Vitamin A – Helps to modulate the flexibility of the skin by controlling the growth of the epidemis cells, keratinisation, and may help to correct partial thinning of the dermis related to ageing.

Vitamin E – Is an antioxidant and helps to maintain the integrity of tissues by opposing the formation of free radicals.

Vitamin C – May stimulate the synthesis of collagen and inhibit the production of melanin.

Vitamin B – This vitamin group promotes good biological balance of the skin.

Vitamin K – Plays an important role in the regulation of microcirculation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the skin lift do?

Skin lift may promote the true restructuring of the skin tissue since the formulation has been designed to favour the different biological reactions of the skin by certain supplements:

  • Vitamins may provide an anti-deficiency function.
  • Amino acids may promote better protein construction.
  • Minerals help to regulate the ionic balance of the medium.
  • Coenzymes may activate certain biochemical reactions.
  • Nucleic acids may stimulate the synthesis.

The Skinlift may improve skin tone and texture. Many of our patients report that their skin feels tighter.

When do I see results?

Most patients see results immediately after their first treatment, although these will wear off in time. A package of six treatments, with an additional treatment a few times during the year, is generally recommended for the best chance to achieve and maintain the desired results.

What are the risks of the Skin lift?

There is a very small chance of bruising, which can easily be covered with makeup. Any potential bruising is minimised using our technique.

Can skin lift be used in combination with other treatments?

Skin lift mesotherapy can be used as a stand-alone treatment that often provides impressive results, or to enhance the effects further it can be used in combination with other treatments such as:

Skin lift and microdermabrasion
Skin lift and chemical peels
Skin lift and laser photo rejuvenation
Skin lift and dermaroller treatment
